PLAYING WITH THE PHOENIX:

 

1.  Cost (Registration Fee)

​

• Early Registration by Sept 1: $800 ($100 refunded if you volunteer)

• After Sept 1: $850 ($100 refunded if you volunteer)

• Registration Closes:  September 15 @ 12pm NO EXCEPTIONS

Included in costs:

• Equipment (excluding mouth guards and cleats).

• Player attendance/meal at wrap-up banquet.

• Regular Season field rentals and referees.

• Player/coach only bus trips with pizza and drinks after the game (depending on registration numbers and number of away games).

• League registration and insurance.

 

2.  Registration:

 

Your player must be entering grade 7, 8 or 9 in the fall, NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY

 

1. To Register you must be on TeamSnap, if you are not on TeamSnap please email PhoenixFootballClub@proton.me with:

• your child’s first and last name(s)

• your preferred email and cell # for TeamSnap

 

   2.  Once you have emailed the above information or if you are already on our TeamSnap:

• e-transfer the registration fee (outlined above) to PhoenixFootballClub@proton.me including your child’s name(s) in the note section.

NOTE:

• ALL communication is done through TeamSnap

• Regular Season runs from the start of school (accommodations made for long weekends and severe weather), practices are every Mon thru Thursday from 4pm to 6pm with games on the weekends until the end of November; depending on how well we do

• The kids are bussed to away games with coaches and without parents, parents must drive.  WHY?  Because the kids love it and bus trips are an experience shared with team mates that kids remember for years to come

 

3.  Potential Cash Call Costs:

• Bussing, referees and field rentals for playoffs and provincials.

• Low registration numbers increases cost/player

4.  Volunteer Roles Available:

​

1. Manager

2. Fundraising

3. Score Keeper (1 at each home game)

4. Timekeeper (1 at each home game)

5. Field Team (3 at each home game)

6. Trainer (at every game “if possible”)

7. Coaches

8. Equipment Manager

 

5.  Fundraising

​

We will run a minimum of one fundraiser per year, the fundraisers vary depending on interest and past successes.

 

6.  Refund Policy

​

The Manager and Head Coach must be notified in writing (including by email) of any request to withdraw a player's registration. Once this notification occurs, the player withdrawing is not permitted to participate in any Phoenix Bantam Football practices, games, or events.   As and when applicable, a refund will be processed via a refund cheque to the person who paid the registration, in each case, based on the following refund policy.

1. Withdrawals prior to the team’s first away game. 

   1. A full refund of a player’s eligible registration fees paid less a $75 administration fee.

2. Withdrawals after the first away game but before the next game:

   1.  A partial refund equal to 50% of a player’s eligible registration fee plus volunteer fee if you volunteered paid less a $75 administration fee.

3. No further refunds will be offered.

4. Discretionary Exemptions.  Notwithstanding the foregoing, Phoenix Bantam Football reserves the right to review and issue refunds in connection with player withdrawal requests for health-related circumstances, relocations, or in other circumstance deemed just and equitable considering the circumstances, as determined by the Phoenix Bantam Football Management and Coaching Team in its sole discretion.  In such circumstances, the amount of any refund of a player’s eligible registration fees, if any, will be in the amount and upon the other terms and conditions determined by the Phoenix Bantam Football Team.
